Created by Egbert-Jan Lam of Netherlands-based Burojet Design Studio, Stitches is a family of four well-hemmed pendants: Mopti, Tombuct�, Djenné and Bamako. Each light is named after a city or town in Mali, West Africa. Mali has a long history as a producer of embroidery, its many skilled artisans found throughout Mopti, Tombuct�, Djenné and Bamako adept at needlework.; The Stitches pendants impart an appealing bohemian air, their warm wood veneer panels embroidered with peeping threads of light. Crafted with passion and precision, Mopti, Tombuct�, Djenné and Bamako hint at the simple beauty found in Malian embroidery.
