Rattan is prepared in a special micro bore extrusion for ANGO by a local supplier to the east of Bangkok. A random weave technique developed by the ANGO production team is utilized to produce the shade. The result is a textural interplay of light diffusion to different degrees as it is diffused by the overlapping layers of the woven rattan.
